The veiw ahead was very dark and it had started raining steadily on us by Springvale Road.
So we turned left and headed north where it was looking a little bit better. This is Shawie taking the left-hander...

It turned out to be a good move as we headed out through Park Orchards and Warrandyte. We dodged the rain nicely. A quick loop up around Clintons Road, coffee and muffin at Smiths Gully and a blast home.
A beautiful 80k-ish Cup Day cruise and all home to the families by 1000hrs. Magnificent!
80 ks - solid effort
100kg still - bugger it
Top Ride indeed Rich, and a special bonus to not be under the hammer to hurry home. The coffee you guys take for granted each week is like a special treat to me, extra enjoyable. Getting out with the 6amers is always fun,

You smashed those last couple of climbs... good luck for the Dritworks, mate. I pity the fools racing you :-)
