Once again I found it easy to get out of bed at 5:10am this morning. Seems ridiculous doesn't it? But the thought of rolling down the road with my mates within half the hour and heading off for an hour of pain is just too exciting. And yes... I am 44!
A great turn out for this ride which is proving to be as popular as anything for the 6am-ers.
And for good reason. It's hard, adrenalin inducing and good for everyone (or most I should say). Love it.
The race planning discussions over coffee were vibrant and the plan for Saturday was further developed through approximately 123 emails throughout the day.
Let the games begin!
